When I was growing up, we didn't have all this technology at our fingertips. About 10 years ago I was in a Job center looking for a job. They referred me to their computers to search. Luckily, my 12 year old nephew was with me. He had to show me how to start the computer and navigate through job listings. It made me feel like I was prehistoric! And now kids as young as 10 are carrying cellphones on a regular basis. This is good and bad at the same time. They can access information they shouldn't have and there has been a big increase in child predators who contact them on the internet. They also have educational programs and sites available. The best thing is the FREE software. We always have to protect our kids, whether their ours or not. Children are going to grow up and take care of us some day. I should be getting more educational resources for everyone soon and hopefully a home page for you all to reference.
